This year the Robert E. Tilton Award was awarded to longtime activist, Reno County Chairman, and First District Chair Vic Moser.

This award recognizes outstanding leadership on the county level to organize Democrats, field strong candidates and work to mobilize support for Democratic campaigns. This award shall be considered the highest honor which can be bestowed to a Democratic County Chair by the Kansas Democratic Party.

Also given this year was the  Dennis M. Langley Award, to the Kansas Organization of State Employees.

The Dennis M. Langley award is given to individuals whose financial support and commitment has helped build a foundation for the operations of the party. It recognizes the generous, unselfish commitment of individuals who support Democratic causes year in and year out. This award shall be considered the highest honor which can be bestowed to an individual in recognition of their financial support.
