Who We Are
Kansas Democrats are parents and grandparents. We’re farmers who have worked our family’s land for generations. We’re carpenters and janitors, factory workers, homemakers, and business executives. We’re engineers, teachers, fire fighters, police officers and soldiers. We’re ministers. We’re on the job every day, and we’ve been retired for decades. We live in every part of the state.
We are different in so many ways, but we are unite d by our values. And we are united by our rock-solid belief that Kansas’ leaders must set the right priorities, and then protect them. Our leaders have to know that providing for education, creating economic opportunity and fulfilling our responsibilities come before anything else.
