Larry Meeker

Larry Meeker was born and raised in Western Kansas.  For the past 39 years he has lived in Johnson County, Kansas where he served as Mayor of Lake Quivira.  Larry is a retired Vice President of the Federal Reserve of Kansas City.  He is very active in the Kansas arts community and serves as Chair of the Johnson County Museum Foundation Board and the Johns County Public Art Commission.  He previously Chaird the Pastoral Nominating Committee of the Shawnee Presbyterian Church and the Kansas City Museum Foundation Board.  He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Kansas and serves as an Adjunct Professor and the New Mexico Economic Development Course (one of 19 courses certified by the International Economic Development Council).  Larry is a Vetern of the Kansas Air National Guard (1st Lieutenant navigator, B-57 aircraft).
