Chairman Larry Gates invites you to the Kansas Democratic Party's annual Demofest on Saturday, August 14th at the Hyatt Regency in Wichita. Demofest is an annual celebration intended for Kansas Democrats to come together as a sort of family reunion amongst like-minded Kansans.  This year's Demofest will also feature the unveiling of the entire Statewide Democratic slate shortly after the August 3rd Primary!

Ticket Info

Ticket sales are now closed. We will sell tickets at the door on a first come, first served basis but cannot guarantee lunch availability. Tickets are $50 per person and include admittance to the banquet lunch on Saturday.

Friday Night's 4th District Dems Social Event

The 4th District Dems cordially invite all those attending Demofest to join them on Friday, August 13th in Wichita. Meet in the lobby of the Hyatt at 7pm to let Wichita's finest show you around town.

Demofest Karaoke night, hosted by the Sedgwick County Democratic Party, will be held at Rain Cafe and Bar at 518 E Douglas from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.

The following bars and restaurants are all near the Warren Plaza trolley stop:
Old Chicago--Burgers, Pizza, and Bar
Cafe Moderne-Sandwiches and Bar
Hanna Cafe--Suci and Bar
Imbus Grill--German and Beer

within two blocks there is also Mort's, River City Brewery, Hero's, Larkspur, the Brick Yard and a host of others.

The Q Line is the free public transportation trolley that departs the Hyatt at 14, 26, 44, and 56 minutes past the hour and runs until midnight.
