In a bout of desperation yesterday, Phill Kline held a press conference to personally attack Democratic Candidate Paul Morrison and his family. The press conference was held ahead of the release of a new poll showing wide gains for the Democratic challenger.

SurveyUSA conducted a state wide poll and found a major upswing in Paul Morrison,s campaign numbers. Their survey showed that not only is Paul Morrison gaining support across the state, he is now defeating incumbent Phill Kline.

According to the survey, Kline has "lost 8 points and Morrison has gained 8 points. Morrison, who had trailed by 3 points, now leads by 13" since September 14. The results out of western Kansas show that Morrison is tied with Kline, gaining ground from being behind 28 points.

Kline and his campaign stuck to his usual negative rhetoric in personally slamming his opponent before the poll results were released.

Kline has gone behind the backs of Kansans in securing medical records, in what can only be called a purely political agenda. His deception of Kansas voters shows that he has the wrong priorities as Attorney General.

He has also been on the offensive, deplorably attacking Morrison,s record, abilities and personal character. For Kline to slow the positive momentum of Morrison,s campaign, he is turning to deception and lies.

As we close in on the final days before the election, it is clear that the race for Attorney General is going to be increasingly heated. With such a close race, it is increasingly important for individuals to help unseat Kline.
