And Yet He Continues to Campaign for McCain...

Sen. Brownback continues to publicly admonish the Air Force's decision to outsource more than 4,000 Kansas jobs to France, yet he refuses to withdraw his support for John McCain who:

  1. Appointed Airbus lobbyists to key positions within his campaign
  2. Actively fought to include Airbus in the running for the defense contract, despite the company's pending litigation over illegal subsidies that gave them an unfair advantage
  3. Publicly declared he does not consider job creation important when talking about military defense contracts

Brownback said the tanker deal "popped us right in the jaw" in Kansas. He later noted that he is working with other officials to determine the full economic impact of losing the contract.

"I'm still mad about this," he said.

And yet, did he even mention John McCain's involvement in this? Nope. If he's so mad, why does he still work for John McCain?

And what about Sen. Roberts? Where has his outrage been?

Apparently they both stand with Wichita Rep. Todd Tiahrt, who plans on overlooking McCain's disregard for Kansas jobs in order to "learn to love" him.

When are these guys going to "learn to love" working Kansans?!!?

I guess birds of a feather flock together.

The next person I hear refer to McSame as a maverick will get hit with a copy of the New York Times. This is not new territory for Brownback, a man who's never met a corporate ceo or war-monger he didn't want to tongue kiss (in a totally hetero way of course). Sometimes I feel like Jurgis Rudkus
